Procter Motor Repairs began its journey in 1972, originally trading as G. Procter. Founded by Graham Procter at just 22 years old, the business was built alongside his father, Ernest James Procter. During these early years, Graham developed the skills and expertise that would form the foundation of a successful family enterprise.
Through dedication, hard work, and a commitment to excellence, Graham grew a small workshop into the highly respected Procter Motor Repairs we know today. Continuing the family legacy, his son Antony Procter joined the business at the age of 18, following in his father’s footsteps. Together, they have expanded the company’s reach and strengthened its reputation within the industry.
Beyond motor repairs, the Procter family has diversified into additional ventures, including Procter Rentals. Today, they operate a fleet of nearly 80 lorries for hire, alongside a fully equipped commercial bodyshop that complements their repair services.
